Should you wish to purchase a house and feel you may be absent and not able to keep travelling backwards and forwards to Greece, you may appoint us to represent you by giving us Power of Attorney to conduct Land Title Searches and all paperwork involved in a purchase including preparation and arrangements for signing of contracts.

As soon as a purchase price has been agreed and the deposit paid, the Notary will carry out all the necessary checks on the land or property.

If the purchaser cannot attend the completion of the contract, the appointed Power of Attorney appointed by the purchaser can act on his behalf.

If a Power of Attorney is appointed to act for the purchaser, he will take care of all formalities on his behalf including dealing with building permission, electricity, water and telephone connection and payment of any taxes and insurance, leaving you with absolutely nothing to worry about.

Please note that additional taxes of approximately 12%-15% may be applicable on purchases.
